The management of MCS has a commitment to achieve and maintain the best possible standard of health, safety and welfare for all employees and other persons working at, or visiting either of the MCS premises.

In realising its commitment, MCS will comply with all relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation. This includes:

  • Establishing and maintaining programs to identify and appropriately control workplace hazards
  • Providing for joint health and safety committees to identify and address workplace hazards and workplace health and safety issues
  • providing appropriate tools and equipment
  • providing suitable training to employees concerning workplace health and safety.

Employees should ensure they work safely, take reasonable care for the safety of others in the workplace, and co-operate with management in their efforts to ensure Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare. All employees, including Supervisors, have an obligation to work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 and its regulations and to use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that MCS requires to be used or worn.
