MCS Cook River Rail has extended its depot hours between 0600 & 2200, 5 days a week and 0600 till 1200 on Saturdays which has already had a positive influence on the industry. MCS Port Botany operates between the hours of 0400 & 2400 for FCL’s and 0600 & 1800 for empty units.

MCS Transport

Our transport fleet is made up of late modelled prime movers. Our experienced Fleet Services Division provides the resources which are needed to keep the vehicles operating on a regular basis.

We dedicate and assign specific vehicles to our Customers wants and needs.

Operating 24 hours a day any container Transport task can be handled either by utilising our second shift and or, our extensive range of equipment including generator sets for reefers, side loaders, B-doubles, standard trailers and retractable trailers. We also have an extensive inventory of Trailers allowing us to specialise in drop trailer work.New MAN prime movers have been added to the already extensive fleet including additional B-Double trailer combinations.

MCS recently upgraded GPS, Radio Communications as well as our Computer Software.

MCS Transport has now achieved the highest level of Mass Management Accreditation. We are able to transport the heaviest of cargo that’s allowed on NSW roads. This combined with our Trucksafe & Fatigue Management Accreditation sees us operating at the Safest Level.

Full Container Terminal

Our FCL Terminals at Cooks River and Port Botany can offer competitive FCL storage rates. We can store underbond and have facilities for reefers which are continually monitored. We’re also licensed to store most Dangerous Goods within our Licensed and Fenced area. All this work is carried out with our advanced range of container handling equipment.

Rail

• MCS services up to 30 trains per week. The servicing of Trains is available 7 days a week
• Late running Port destined trains can use our services/rail sidings to return to schedule.
